Shark meat carries mercury. The big fish eat the little fish and the mercury builds up. The sharks live long and the poison stays in their flesh. You eat it and it stays in you too.
Most shark meat smells like piss if not cleaned right. The sharks have urea in their blood. The meat rots fast. You must clean it fast and proper or it goes bad.
The sharks are dying out. Men hunt them for soup. The fins go in the pot and the rest goes back in the sea. It is a waste.
