What are some haunting last photos of people?

2

There are 130 pictures of Abraham Lincoln. This was his last, taken shortly after his death. Henry Ulke, a professional photographer and tenant in the boarding house where Lincoln was carried after being shot, took the photo without authorization.

After two years of research by The Discovery Channel, which included investigations by forensic experts, photography experts, ballistic experts, facial recognition experts, medical experts, historians and Ulke’s relatives, the photograph is almost certainly genuine. Compelling evidence includes an extremely minor scar on the lip and the swollen eye, which is consistent of a gunshot wound to the temple.

Jerald Spolar, an Illinois dentist who owns the photograph, has sued to keep it out of the public domain. Spolar had purchased the photograph from Margaret Hanks, cousin of Abraham Lincoln.

If you wish to test your forensic, visual and analytical skills, the photograph below is the last picture of Lincoln taken while he was alive, 39 days before his assassination.
