We’re honoring retired Lt. Col. Jennifer Fujimoto, a highly respected Air Force fighter pilot who flew the F-15E Strike Eagle.
Fujimoto served for more than 20 years. In 2013, she worked as the director of operations for the 4th Operations Support Squadron at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. In that job, she led big projects like rebuilding runways, moving key buildings, and helping run Razor Talon exercises — which bring together forces from different bases to train as a team.
She also served as the deployed director of operations for the 335th Fighter Squadron and played a key role in joint missions with both the Air Force and Army.
Fujimoto was known for her strong leadership and her work in both planning and real-time combat. She flew missions in dangerous situations, including at night. She retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Thank you, Lieutenant Colonel Fujimoto, for your dedicated service!
