Three years ago, in the quiet hours of the night, a pizza delivery driver named Nick Bostic became a real-life hero.
Nick was out delivering pizzas when he saw a house engulfed in flames. Without hesitation, he dropped the pizzas, ran toward the burning home, and kicked down the door. Inside, he found four children desperately trying to escape. He gathered them and led them safely outside.
But then he heard the most terrifying news:
A 6-year-old girl was still trapped inside.
Despite the smoke, fire, and danger—to the point that he could barely breathe—Nick ran back into the burning house. Crawling through thick, choking smoke, guided only by instinct and determination, he managed to find the little girl.
He picked her up, held her tight, and with flames closing in, jumped from a second-story window to save her life.
The rescue left Nick with serious injuries—cuts, burns, and lung damage. His recovery took years.
But today, he finally shared some wonderful news:
He is fully healed.
In a recent GoFundMe update, Nick wrote:
“I’m fully recovered now. Please, you don’t need to give me anything anymore. Dana White paid my bills. I’ll never forget the love you’ve shown. I would do it all again without a second thought.”
That single night cost him pain, blood, and long recovery…
But it never cost him his courage—or his heart.
