Thomas went to school dressed as Superman

Thomas went to school one morning proudly dressed as Superman. His bright cape flowed behind him as he walked into class, completely confident in his choice of outfit.

His teacher, surprised and a bit annoyed, said,
“Thomas, why are you wearing that? You’re not allowed to wear costumes to school.”

Without hesitation, Thomas replied,
“Because Superman is my uncle.”

The teacher frowned. She knelt down beside him and gently explained,
“Sweetheart, Superman isn’t real. He’s just a fictional character from movies and comic books.”

But Thomas stood firm.
“No, he is real! My uncle is Superman.”

Throughout the day, Thomas kept telling his classmates the same thing, proudly repeating that his uncle was the real Superman.

Later, at pick-up time, the teacher approached Thomas’s mother, clearly frustrated.

“We don’t encourage children to tell lies,” she said.
“And you shouldn’t either. Thomas has been telling everyone his uncle is Superman.”

Thomas’s mother smiled warmly and said,
“Oh! He’s not lying. It’s true.”

She then showed the teacher a photo on her phone: little Thomas standing happily with none other than Henry Cavill—the actor who plays Superman.

The teacher stared at the photo in shock as Thomas grinned proudly beside his real-life “Superman” uncle.
