Many of you have been asking about Maddy

Many of you have been asking about Maddy, the wonderful 28-year-old mother who gave birth to her beautiful son just 16 days ago.

Maddy’s father recently sent me a new picture of Maddy and her son, Harrison (left).

Harrison was born at just 28 weeks and weighed 2 pounds, 12 ounces.

Maddy welcomed Harrison into the world while praying for healing.

Six weeks ago, Maddy was doing great as a coach at Foley (AL) Middle School.

But today, she’s preparing to start chemotherapy next week.

“They told me you have stage 4 lung cancer,” she was told.

“It’s spread to your lungs, bones, liver, and brain. We need to deliver Harrison early, just in case.”

Maddy’s dad, Leon, shared that Harrison is gaining weight, and Maddy has gotten strong enough to begin her treatments.

Maddy is fighting with everything she has. She wants to see Harrison grow up and thrive.

The story of Maddy and Harrison has touched many people’s hearts.

Now, it’s time to share a little of our hearts with Maddy.

It’s time to offer her our support as she gets ready for chemotherapy.

It’s time to show Maddy and Harrison how much we care.
