Last night, my mom and I had a small argument. She told me that she and her old friends were planning a holiday tour, just like they used to do in the past. They agreed to do it one last time while they’re still able. But my mom is a senior, has arthritis sometimes, and takes medicine for it. I pointed out all the “what if’s.”
Today, I met a sweet and bubbly old lady in a wheelchair, and we became friends. She let me take her picture, but only if I told everyone she’s 93 years young! I told her that she and her pink hair made my day. She laughed and said, “Well, I refuse to be that little old white-haired lady!”
On my way home, I kept thinking about the cheerful lady and started thinking about my mom. What if I’m making her feel bad by worrying too much? So now, I’ve decided to help my mom enjoy life and live it to the fullest while she still can. ❣️♥️
