Carrie Fisher had some fun in the golden bikini when she did the promotion photoshoot at the beach with Darth Vader.
When she wore the costume, there’s actually two versions, one is made of metal (when she’s sitting in front of Jabba), and the other is made from rubber, when she had to perform action sequences like choking the life from Jabba.
Wearing the gold bikini during filming on the other hand, was less than pleasant. Carrie Fisher had to wear gaffer tape to cover her breast, removing them everyday must be awful. Carrie was very nervous and self-conscious with the costume, and she had to sit very straight because she wasn’t allowed to have creases on her sides; but she enjoyed the part where she chokes the life from Jabba the Hutt.
