He’s all better now.” Those are the deeply moving words of a mother as she watched her son take his final breath.
After an eight-month fight with a rare and aggressive brain cancer, five-year-old Jett James Owsley passed away on October 7 — finally free from pain, free from cancer, and safe in God’s arms.
Even in his last days, Jett softly said that he wanted to be “all better.” His parents, Nick and Summer Owsley, now say that he truly is. Yet their hearts ache for their little boy — their youngest, their hero, their everything.
Everyone who knew Jett will remember his big imagination, his love for art and science, and his fearless sense of adventure.
His parents are sharing these personal moments and photos of their journey — not for attention, but to help other families know they are not alone in their pain or their fight.
Let’s offer them the same kindness and compassion they have given to others.
Jett will be laid to rest on Monday. Rest in peace, sweet boy.
