Carrie and Craig were a devoted

Carrie and Craig were a devoted couple who had long dreamed of becoming parents. After years of heartbreak and believing they would never be able to have children biologically, they turned their hopes toward adoption. Their prayers were answered when they were matched with newborn twins in the United States—two precious babies born on February 28th. Their home was finally filled with the love and laughter they had waited for.

A year later, something incredible happened.

The twins’ birth mother became pregnant again—and once more, she was carrying twins. Even more astonishing, these babies were also born on February 28th, exactly one year after their older siblings. Wanting all her children to grow up together, she requested that Carrie and Craig adopt the second set of twins as well.

Adopting again so soon was a financial challenge, but the One Chance Foundation, led by author Karen Kingsbury, stepped in and provided the couple with a grant. This support helped make the second adoption possible, and Carrie and Craig joyfully welcomed the new babies into their family. Their home was now filled with four children, each connected by love, adoption, and a remarkable shared birthday.

But the story wasn’t finished yet.

Not long after the second adoption, Carrie received news she never expected—she was pregnant. And to her amazement, she wasn’t carrying just one baby… she was carrying twins.

In a breathtaking twist of fate, these biological twins were born exactly the next year on February 28th—joining their adopted siblings in sharing the same birthday. Three sets of twins, all born on February 28th, all in the same incredible family.

Their journey became a living testimony to the power of hope, faith, and the life-changing gift of adoption. Carrie and Craig’s story shows that families are formed in many beautiful ways—and sometimes, miracles come in pairs… again and again.
