Kimberley Vlaeminck insisted that she only asked for 3 tattoos, but she got 56 stars on her 18-year-old face instead.
Vlaeminck claimed that she fell asleep during the tattoo session, and that the tattoo artist — a man who goes by the name of Rousian Toumaniantz — added 53 extra stars before Kimberley woke up. Again: she claimed she was fast asleep when Toumaniantz tattooed 53 stars on her face (which is pretty incredible, given the pain).
Toumaniantz denied any wrongdoing from his part, though: Kim was wide awake during the entire session, got exactly what she had asked for, paid the man and left the tattoo parlor with a smile. (Later, it turned out that his version was the true one, as corroborated by a witness who was questioned by the police.)
When Kim came home, she had never expected the reaction of her dad, and she also didn’t expect to be dumped by her boyfriend not much later. So to not lose face, she claimed she had been a victim of a devious tattoo artist —
