This bearded fellow would be a good candidate. He was once a very famous television star. Now the former child actor has grown a thick beard and has become a fundamentalist Christian. He considers Hollywood to be morally corrupt and ‘absolutely disgusting’ and wants nothing to do with it.
He lives a bit of a reclusive life. Keeps to himself. His name? Angus T. Jones. He used to be the chubby nephew of Charlie Sheen on Two And A Half Men. He then decided it wasn’t for him… in fact he didn’t even want to appear anymore, at all. He was eventually persuaded to return briefly for the final episode but he felt a bit ‘dirty’ doing even that… he ended up donating pretty much his entire salary to charity because: “My peace of mind is priceless.”
When the series ended, Angus T. Jones more or less… disappeared, altogether. He hated Hollywood. Hated fame. He just loves Jesus, going to church, chilling with his friends. Social media, he doesn’t like it. Cellphones, he doesn’t like it. Drugs, alcohol? No way, José.
Angus T. Jones only needs God, Jesus, wholesome stuff, clean living. He doesn’t need Hollywood, scissors, or razors. And he seems to be doing pretty okay away from all the madness. Maybe this is what working with Charlie Sheen during your formative years does to a kid?
