She was sitting on the couch, breastfeeding her son. Being alone in the house, she was wearing only a pair of underwear, her husband’s at that. Who was supposed to see her in the house anyway?
At one point she heard a commotion and shouting in the yard. Holding the baby in her arms, she stood up and looked out the window.
Her beloved goose was under attack from a bald eagle.
Without thinking twice, holding the baby tightly to her breast and wearing only her husband’s underwear, she started running and screaming at the bird of prey, which, taken by surprise, dropped the poor goose and ran away.
By then, people had come out of the other houses. The woman apologized for her clothing but explained that she had not had time to get dressed.
The video was posted on tik tok and obviously went viral.
Someone called her a heroine.
I honestly don’t know what would have happened if the eagle, instead of running away, had turned against the woman and the baby she was holding.
