The actor met his friend Dodger at an animal shelter while filming the movie ‘Gifted’
“One of the last scenes we filmed was in a dog shelter. I walked in foolishly and thought, ‘Are these actor dogs or are they real dogs up for adoption?’ And they were. I had no intention of rescuing a dog that day, but the moment I saw him, I knew he was coming home with me,” the actor said.
That day, Chris Evans found joy and a loyal friend.
“There are so many loving animals in shelters desperately needing a home. Visit a shelter and leave with a best friend,” she wrote.
