Meet Klara! She just turned 2 years old.
Shortly after her birthday, her parents found a hard bump on her belly and quickly took her to the emergency room.
Their lives changed completely when she was diagnosed with a serious cancer called STAGE 4 NEUROBLASTOMA. She has been in the hospital for over two months.
Klara is starting her second round of chemotherapy, and thankfully, the tumor is beginning to shrink. But this is only the beginning of her treatment. She will still need surgery, radiation, immunotherapy, a bone marrow transplant, and ongoing treatment once she goes into remission.
Her family is heartbroken by this news. But they remain hopeful, and Klara is a strong and brave fighter.
