I’ve shared this story before, but it’s worth telling again.
When I was 15, my brother-in-law, who was an actor, had just finished a role on Bewitched. We went to L.A. to visit my sister and him, and he took us on a special backstage tour that most people don’t get. We went to the set of Bewitched, and I had the chance to meet Elizabeth Montgomery.
She was more beautiful than I can describe. Even though she was busy, she took a few minutes to talk to me, and during those minutes, she made me feel like I was the most important person to her at that moment. That’s something rare.
I’ll admit, I cried a lot when she passed away too soon from cancer.
