It truly breaks my heart to share that the woman I fell in love with, married, and who is the loving mother of our two youngest children, was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer in April 2023. 😢
After undergoing rounds of chemotherapy last year, doctors revealed that her tumor was too large for radiotherapy, and unfortunately, no surgeon at the Cancer Council felt comfortable performing surgery to remove it.
Despite the odds, Stephanie has continued to fight bravely — enduring chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and multiple blood transfusions. She now has a catheter in her chest for easier access during future treatments and blood tests.
In January 2024, doctors gave us the devastating news that she may only have a few years left to live.
Recently, another blow came when a new growth was discovered in one of her lymph nodes. Stephanie is now preparing to begin another round of chemotherapy in hopes of stopping any further spread. 🙏🏽
Her family is asking for continued prayers, love, and strength to help Stephanie stay with them as long as possible. ❤️
“May I ask each of you to keep Stephanie in your prayers to help us keep her in our lives as long as possible?”
