13-year-old Tristyn Bailey lived a happy life with her family in St. Johns County, Florida — until her life was tragically taken.
14-year-old Aiden Fucci had often joked to his friends about wanting to kill someone. They thought he was just being dark and didn’t take him seriously — until one day, he actually did it.
On May 8, 2021, Aiden tricked Tristyn into following him into a wooded area near where they lived. There, he stabbed her 114 times before walking back to his house.
Police quickly began looking into Aiden because security camera footage showed Tristyn was last seen with him.
After getting a search warrant, officers found clothes and shoes in his room covered in blood.
There was no real reason behind the killing — Aiden later said he just wanted to see what it felt like to watch someone die. He was charged as an adult, and on March 24, he was sentenced to life in prison.
